Music has been a constant presence in my life from a young age. Growing up, I was fortunate to share my creative endeavors with my dad, a talented musician himself. He first show me how to program drums when I was nine years old. We'd spend hours in the home studio growing up. I would create a beat and he would jam out on his guitar, I was very lucky.
As I entered my early teenage years, my best friend's older brother, Shawn, played a pivotal role in my musical journey. We would drive around and listen to Project Pat, Three Six Mafia, Lil Wayne, Dem Franchize Boyz, and more. What made these experiences unforgettable was Shawn's insane JL Audio sound system. I remember thinking to myself how awesome the music made me feel and I wanted more. It was during these moments that I basically became obsessed with hip-hop.
As many of you know, life, has its share of tragedies. My friend's brother, Shawn, passed away due to a drug overdose. Hard-drugs hit my town hard and they took many of my friend's lives but n the midst of the turmoil, I found solace in music production. Armed with a laptop I bought on a memorable Black Friday at Radio Shack in 2009, I turned to beat-making as a form of therapy, a means to channel my emotions and experiences into something beautiful.
Fast forward to 2022, and I find myself at Full Sail University, pursuing my passion for music production. It's here that I'm honing my skills and working to turn my love for music into a lifelong career. My journey continues, with the echoes of the past guiding me and the promise of the future beckoning me forward.
